English Mule Love Ewe

Hand-sculpted using the needle-felt technique, I have made this Love Ewe from the very finest rare breed Cotswold fleece, with Zwartbles fleece used for her black face and legs.
Needle-felting involves taking unspun fibre and agitating it with a single barbed needle to bind the fibres together.
This Love Ewe has been modelled on ‘Norah’, an English Mule who is part of the Alfie Purl flock. She is an incredibly brave, independent and clever sheep and is an excellent mother (mum to my very own Dangermouse infact!).

- This Love Ewe stands approximately 10cm tall, 11cm long and is very round.
- Needlefelted from undyed Cotswold and Zwartbles wool.
- This piece of felt sculpture is a decorative piece of art, not a toy and is therefore unsuitable for children.
